Ridwan Kamil's Son Disappears Abroad, The Police Steps In To Submit A Yellow Notice To Interpol

JAKARTA - Emmeril Khan Mumtadz, son of West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil, was reported missing in the current while swimming in the Aare River, Bern, Switzerland. Police as members of Interpol will file a yellow notice to speed up the search process.

"We are asking for a yellow notice from Interpol Switzerland and all other Interpol members," said Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo when confirmed, Friday, May 27.

Yellow notice is the process of requesting assistance to Interpol to search for or find missing persons.

In addition, yellow notices are used to locate minors and assist the identification process.

In the process of submitting a yellow notice, the National Police are still gathering requirements that must be corrected. One of them asked for the complete identity data of Ridwan Kamil's child.

Then, continued Dedi, the Police had informally communicated with the Swiss police. The goal is to monitor the progress of the search.

"Informally we asked through the P to P (Police to Police, ed) to the Swiss side on the progress of handling this matter," said Dedi.

The son of West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil, Emmeril Khan Mumtadz or Eril, was reported missing on Thursday, May 26 yesterday. He is said to have been swept away by the current while swimming in the Aare River, Bern, Switzerland.
