JAKARTA - The Archipelago Capital Authority (IKN) demonstrated Indonesia's commitment to building the National Capital of the Archipelago with the concept of a smart city, sustainable and green city at the World Economic Forum.

Bambang said that his party together with Bappenas at the WEF forum wanted to create a branding on ESG (environmental, sustainable, and government) to be implemented in the archipelago. their capacities and create a good government.
"That's what we convey to the audience present at WFE, but not only that we are also looking for potential sources to finance in the future because we need a lot of funding," he said.
At the WEF event which was held again after two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Bambang admitted that several investors had expressed their interest in getting involved in IKN. However, his party is still considering which investment is suitable and appropriate to be applied in the archipelago.
"The investment varies, because we are building a city and the opportunities are certainly wide open for investors, suppliers, contractors and all who will support the IKN financing process," he said.
Bambang said that he had met with a delegation from the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs SECO who expressed interest in efforts to increase Swiss MSMEs and Indonesian MSMEs. One of them is related to clean air technology, air filtering, to how to build a workshop for clean air energy.
"They are indeed enthusiastic to provide assistance to developing countries and beyond that there are indeed several private sectors that show interest in smart cities," said Bambang.
