JAKARTA - The police will continue to process the law against 3 junior high school students, perpetrators of bullying their juniors at the same school. But the police will pay close attention to the interests of the child.

Semarang Police Chief Kombes Pol. Irwan Anwar explained that the handling of cases of alleged bullying by three students of a public junior high school in Semarang City against their juniors will ensure that the interests of all children are taken into account.

"The case is handled according to legal corridors based on the interests of the child," said Irwan in Semarang, Wednesday, May 25, quoted from Antara.

According to him, the rehabilitation process for the interests of victims and perpetrators remains the most important thing.

According to him, the police are cooperating with psychologists from the Semarang City Education Office, the school, as well as the parents of the victims and the perpetrators.

Previously, it was reported that the police had arrested three students from a public junior high school in Semarang City, who were suspected of bullying another student who was a schoolmate.

The arrest of the class VIII student began with a viral video on social media.

The bullying incident carried out by the perpetrators with the initials ST, DT, NA against the victim of the hospital occurred on Tuesday (24/5) at the Semarang City Square.

The three perpetrators assaulted the victim, who was his classmate, while still wearing the school uniform.

Irwan added that the trigger for the persecution was allegedly because the perpetrators who were senior students felt they were not respected by their juniors.
