JAKARTA - The Southeast Sulawesi Regional Police's Directorate of Narcotics has arrested a young man with the initials A (30), suspected of distributing narcotics class I, the type of crystal methamphetamine, in the South Sulawesi (Sulsel) network.

South Sulawesi Police Dirresnarkoba Kombes Muhammad Eka Faturrahman said the suspect was arrested at his boarding house on Jalan Baburanda, Korumba Village, Mandonga District, Kendari City, Saturday, October 17. Mr. Dai was arrested for allegedly distributing crystal methamphetamine in the city.

"Based on public information about the existence of a methamphetamine narcotics dealer in Kendari, the suspect is a dealer who cooperates with his friend who is an inter-provincial network," said Kombes Eka in Kendari, quoted by Antara , Monday, October 19.

He explained that on Saturday, October 17 at 11:00 p.m. local time, his party managed to arrest the suspect at his boarding house, and confiscated the evidence of 15 sachets of alleged methamphetamine packages ready for distribution with a gross weight of 21.28 grams from the suspect's boarding house.

"The suspect admitted that he obtained the crystal methamphetamine by attaching it from someone in Kendari City," explained Kombes Eka.

He revealed that at 23.55 local time his party carried out development at TKP 2 which had the address BTN Zarinda 1 Jalan Brigjen Katamso, Number A 20, Puosu Jaya Village, Konda District, South Konawe Regency, where a package of methamphetamine drugs was found with a gross weight of 0.50 grams. .

"The suspect's mode of distributing shabu-shabu was by previously obtaining it from his friend who was a network of South Sulawesi Province on behalf of Mr X, then circulating / selling it to users in Kendari City under directions via cellphone communication," he explained.

Currently the suspect and evidence are at the Headquarters of the Southeast Sulawesi Police Ditresnarkoba for further investigation and development.

The suspect charged with Article 114 paragraph (2) subsidiary to Article 112 paragraph (2) Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics with the threat of death penalty, life imprisonment or imprisonment for a minimum of six years and a maximum of 20 years.
