Not Yet Thinking About The Presidential And Vice Presidential Candidates, PAN Is Still Looking For Coalition Partners

JAKARTA - The National Mandate Party (PAN) has not thought about who the presidential and vice presidential candidates will be.

The reason is that PAN is still seeking support to meet the presidential and vice presidential nomination threshold (PT) of 20 percent.

"I can't carry it. So we are looking for friends so we can carry it," said PAN chairman Zulkifli Hasan to reporters at the ACLC building, Rasuna Said, South Jakarta, Wednesday, May 25.

PAN has indeed joined the United Indonesia Coalition (KIB) to meet this threshold. However, Zulkifli doesn't want to talk more about who the presidential candidate will be.

"Then who will be the presidential candidate, the vice presidential candidate, later. Later," he said.

Likewise with the possibility of joining the National Awakening Party (PKB) to the United Indonesia Coalition, Zulhas did not want to respond.

"That's another thing. Later," he said as he walked away.

Previously, PKB Chairman Muhaimin Iskandar or Cak Imin admitted that he was interested in joining the coalition initiated by the Golkar Party, PAN, and PPP. The only condition is that he becomes a presidential candidate.

Cak Imin himself initiated the PKB desire after the Joint Prayer for Ulama and Habaib for World Peace in Surabaya, East Java, Sunday, May 22.

"We are ready to join, as long as I am the presidential candidate," said Cak Imin at the time.
