Executive General Manager of SMB II Palembang Airport Tommy Ariesdianto said the two planes departing from Soekarno-Hatta Airport, Cengkareng (CKG) for Bengkulu (BKS) landed due to bad weather.

Tommy explained that the two planes were Batik Air airline with flight number ID 7127 carrying 109 passengers and landed at SMB II Palembang at 17.09 WIB.

Furthermore, Citilink flight number CTV 990 carrying as many as 115 passengers landed at SMB II Palembang at 18.04 WIB.

He made sure the condition of the plane and all passengers including crew were in good condition.

"The two planes have resumed flights after the weather conditions improved at 18.12 WIB and 18.34 WIB," he said.
