Police show evidence of extortion cases in Bulu Polsek area, Temanggung/ANTARA Police

TEMANGGUNG - The Temanggung Resort Police (Polres), Central Java, detained two of the three people involved in the extortion case, namely DN (30) and FM (24). The two perpetrators are residents of Dukuh Hamlet, Wonosari Village, Bulu, Temanggung Regency.

"Meanwhile, one other perpetrator with the initials ARG who is also a resident of Dukuh Hamlet, Wonosari Village, Bulu District is still at large," said the Head of Criminal Investigation at the Temanggung Police AKP Bambang Subekti in Temanggung, Antara, Tuesday, May 24.

This case of confiscation stems from the suspect's disapproval of the victim named Muhammad Farhan Pradita, a resident of Giyono Village, Jumu District, Temanggung Regency, because the victim brought a woman from Dukuh Hamlet, Wonosari Village, Bulu District, until the early hours after the lumping horse art performance.

Out of this disapproval, the three suspects put a sack containing manure in the middle of the road with the aim of blocking the speed of the victim's motorbike.

It turned out that the victim stopped his motorbike because it was blocked by a pile of sacks in the middle of the road, when the victim stopped the three suspects immediately approached the victim.

"At that time the victim was immediately approached by the perpetrator and had time to ask, you were with the girl, do you know when you play, which person are you," he said.

After that, the perpetrators immediately beat the victim using their bare hands and the victim who fell was still kicked by the perpetrator. After hitting the victim, a perpetrator immediately asked for the victim's cell phone in a forceful tone.

"If the victim does not hand over his cellphone, the perpetrator will take the victim's motorbike because in that position the victim feels pressured and is forced to hand over the cellphone to the perpetrator," he said.

He conveyed that the suspect was threatened with Article 170 in conjunction with 351 of the Criminal Code and Article 368 of the Criminal Code with a penalty of nine years in prison.

The suspect, DN, admitted that he would only teach the victim a lesson because the victim was deemed to have misbehaved by escorting a woman from her village in the early hours of the morning.

"Just to teach a lesson, our cellphone asks the victim not to tell the girl this incident," he said.

The Temanggung Police Chief, AKBP Agus Puryadi, asked the public to increase vigilance against criminal acts in line with the disclosure of extortion cases in the Bulu Sector Police area.

"If you experience a crime, you should immediately report it to us or directly report to me via WA number 081329012003, we will immediately follow up," he said.

He said that the extortion of the extortion case in the jurisdiction of the Bulu Police started from reports of victims experiencing extortion on Jalan Dusun Dukuh, Wonosari Village, Bulu District.

"So the victim felt blackmailed by three suspects, the suspect asked for the victim's cellphone," he said.

He conveyed from the report that officers carried out an investigation in the village and finally managed to apprehend two of the three perpetrators of looting the victim.
