JAKARTA - Residents of the victims of the Pasar Gembrong RW 01 fire, East Jakarta, have begun to occupy temporary shelter locations in the Cipinang Besar Utara Flats (Rusun).

Assistant for Administration and People's Welfare of East Jakarta City, Achmad Salahuddin in Jakarta, Monday, said that the residents of the Gembrong Market fire victims had received socialization and keys to the apartment units that would be used as temporary locations.

"You can occupy it today. Immediately. It was announced earlier that the officer who had been given the key was able to occupy it. The important thing is that they already know which room," said Achmad, quoting Antara, Monday, May 23.

Salahuddin added that the residents had also signed a letter of agreement to stay temporarily in the CBU Flat.

Salahuddin said that up to now there are 110 families (KK) registered to move to the CBU Flats.

He said the residents of the Gembrong Market fire victims would occupy the CBU Flats for three months for free while waiting for the completion of the settlement revitalization process carried out by the East Jakarta City Government in collaboration with the DKI Baznas.

Meanwhile, Wahyuningsih, who is one of the victims of the Gembrong Market fire, admitted that he was very happy with the temporary location assistance.

Wahyuningsih said he was satisfied with the condition of the unit in the CBU Flats because it has two bedrooms, one bathroom, kitchen, living room and balcony.

"Alhamdulillah, I feel very happy. God willing, I will move tomorrow. I have three children and my husband," said Wahyuningsih.
