Anies Baswedan Attends Virtual Halal Bi Halal Muhammadiyah Event

JAKARTA - DKI JAKARTA Governor Anies Baswedan and Jusuf Kalla have canceled to participate in halal bi-halal event held by Muhammadiyah DKI Jakarta at the Muhammadiyah Dakwah Building, Kramat Raya Street, Senen District, Central Jakarta, Sunday, May 22.

Anies Baswedan was present virtually and said he had canceled his attendance due to attending a family event. However, Anies promised to meet the Muhammadiyah family in DKI Jakarta.

"Greetings to all, hopefully, we will be given health. God willing, we will be able to meet directly on another occasion," Anies said virtually.

Secretary of DKI Jakarta Muhammadiyah Regional Leadership (PWM), Nuswantoro said that Muhammadiyah DKI Jakarta was grateful for the attention of the Governor of DKI Jakarta to Muhammadiyah which was considered quite good.

"Almost all Jakarta Muhammadiyah programs have the support of the Governor. Then we convey some input and suggestions, we convey criticism to the Governor, he gives a good appreciation," he told VOI at the location, Sunday, May 22.

Although he did not attend directly to the location, PW Muhammadiyah DKI Jakarta understood the Governor of DKI Jakarta, Anies Baswedan, who was unable to attend in person.

The reason is, said Nuswantoro, DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan always attends whenever he gets an invitation from PW Muhammadiyah DKI Jakarta.

"Today he was not present because there was trouble at home. We can only pray, hopefully, he is healthy and continues to walk on the right tracks. Stay healthy and stay with us. That is our prayer on behalf of Muhammadiyah Jakarta," concluded Nuswantoro.

Meanwhile, the participants of Muhammadiyah residents who attended the PW Muhammadiyah DKI Jakarta halal bi-halal activities reached thousands of people from various cities on the island of Java.
