JAKARTA - Chairman of Peradi Otto Hasibuan is waiting for a decree (SK) from the Ministry of Law and Human Rights (Kemenkum HAM) regarding the legality of the advocate organization he leads. Because his party has sent a letter of objection to the acceptance of Peradi led by Luhut Pangaribuan.

"We have submitted an objection to the Ministry of Law and Human Rights so that it can be corrected immediately because we believe and believe that the minister is consistent and hopefully this is just a technical error and can be corrected," Otto told reporters, Friday, May 20.

This error, continued Otto, was because Peradi led by Luhut Pangaribuan was accepted and has been included in the website of the Director General of General Legal Administration (AHU) of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights.

In fact, Peradi Luhut Pangaribuan at that time was declared invalid based on the decision of the Supreme Court (MA).

"Luhut's party filed an appeal to the Supreme Court and it was later stated that Pak Luhut's cassation was rejected," he said.

According to Otto, in this way the legality of Peradi's leadership can be immediately legalized in the eyes of the law. Thus, the dispute over mutual claims regarding Peradi's leadership can be resolved.

"So this is the way to end disputes with other parties. Because we are a country of law, we have tried to resolve the deliberation and consensus method but it was not finished, finally it was resolved by legal means," said Otto.

For information, the management of Peradi became a problem after the famous lawyer Hotman Paris declared he was leaving the organization. One of the reasons is that Peradi under the leadership of Otto Hasibuan does not have a Minister of Law and Human Rights Decree.
