JAKARTA - The BUMN Ministry supports the Public Prosecutor (JPU) to demand compensation of Rp. 16.8 trillion from two defendants in cases of corruption in managing funds and the use of investment funds at PT Asuransi Jiwasraya (Persero).

In addition to compensation, he continued, Heru and Benny also face life imprisonment.
"Heru and Benny Tjokrosaputro have now been sued for life by the Attorney, without the intention of intervening in the court. We hope that the verdict will provide a sense of justice for the people as well," he said.
Arya conveyed that the existence of a prison sentence of up to life shows the seriousness of the government in eradicating corruption.
