VVIP Formula E Tickets For IDR 5.7 Million Are Sold Out, Buyers From America To Europe

JAKARTA - Sales of Formula E race tickets costing Rp. 5.7 million to Rp. 10 million for the VVIP class have sold more than 50 percent. This large event has proven to be of great interest to the upper middle class.

Meanwhile, the VIP class has also been sold out. VIP spectators will fill seats closest to the circuit track. Meanwhile, 70 percent of the tickets for the grandstand, which has a capacity of 10 thousand seats, have been sold.

Director of Jakpro, Gunung Kartiko said, VIP tickets have been sold out 100 percent, VIP means that there are three places, namely, Ocean Waves, Segara, and Jimbaran.

The grandstand stand is by far the most favorite place to watch. This can be seen from the ticket sales. For the grandstand class, the tickets are in great demand by potential spectators.

"Then the sales for the grandstand are also the favorite because it has reached 70 percent there, the number of grandstands is 10 thousand," said Gunung, his nickname at Ancol Beach City Mall, North Jakarta, Thursday, May 19, yesterday.

Then the Ancol Festival ticket category is still the smallest class for ticket sales. Because, until now only sold as much as 15 percent. As is known, this category is outside the area of the Formula E circuit.

Even interestingly, continued Gunung, the majority of buyers of Formula E tickets have so far been dominated by foreigners. Even though it is dominated by foreigners, he hopes that this event can encourage foreign exchange for Indonesia.

"From here we can see that those who bought the tickets were not only Indonesians but more than 50 percent of foreigners," he said.

Gunung said ticket buyers came from Malaysia and Singapore, which are neighboring countries of Indonesia, and some even came from America to Europe.
