MEDAN - Candidate for Mayor of Medan, Akhyar Nasution, emphasized that Medan needs a leader who knows the ins and outs of the city. Introduction of important areas so that the Medan development program is right on target.

This was conveyed by Akhyar when he met residents in Medan Sunggal. Candidate number 1 in the Medan Pilkada emphasized that Medan as a big city must be led by people who also know everything about Medan, including absorbing the aspirations of the citizens.

"How can this city be led by people who do not know the area. That's why we beg for support from all residents here so that on December 9 they will vote number 1," said Akhyar in a written statement, Friday, October 16.

Akhyar-Salman Alfarisi filled his campaign by staying in touch with the board of the Darul Yatim Mardhotillah Waqf Foundation and residents of Jalan Abadi, Medan Sunggal. Chairman of the Darul Yatim Mardhotillah Waqf Foundation, Slamet bin Jaiz expressed his hope that if he was elected in the Medan Regional Head Election, Akhyar could help orphans in Tnajung Rejo Village to enter public schools

Slamet also hopes that Akhyar-Salman will later be able to make repairs at Gang Karya. According to him, residents complained about the road infrastructure in the area.

"We feel that the people of Jalan Abadi surrounding it feel a little uncomfortable like the one in Gang Karya Sir. We support you, if you become mayor the road will only be about 75 meters, Sir. We beg to be repaired. We pray for you to become mayor of Medan," he said.

Meanwhile, the Trustee of the Darul Yatim Waqf Foundation Mardhotillah Suparmin Sareh prayed that Akhyar-Salman would be elected in the Medan Pillar and lead the city with trust. Suparmin even asked PKS and volunteers to deploy members to monitor the polling stations (TPS) on the voting on December 9.

"Medan Sunggal is PKS's well. I want PKS to be ready to appoint witnesses at every TPS, because that is very important, we have to have our witnesses from PKS so that there is no manipulation. Many people will take the opportunity without witnesses later. we have to multiply our witnesses, "he ordered.

Upon this message from residents, Akhyar suggested that road repairs in Gang Karya be conveyed to the urban village. As for the recommendation to enter public schools, Akhyar said that the authority lies with the North Sumatra Provincial Government.

"Then there is confirmation, there is a pathway, an achievement path, an independent path (to enter public schools). I dare not say first, sir, it is not the authority of the Medan City Government in admitting new high school / vocational high school students. indeed the regulations are possible, why not help our children, "said Akhyar.

After meeting the residents, Akhyar symbolically gave donations to 53 orphans at the Darul Yatim Mardhotillah Waqf Foundation. Salman Alfarisi accompanied Akhyar.
