Student Demo Today, Transjakarta Modified Routes

JAKARTA - PT Transjakarta modified the bus route in connection with a planned demonstration that was held by the Indonesian Student Executive Board (BEM SI) in the State Palace area today.

"The action has an impact on Transjakarta services. However, in order for the public to be accommodated by their mobility using our services, Transjakarta will modify its service routes," said Operational Director of PT Transjakarta Prasetia Budi in his statement, Friday, October 16.

Prasetia explained, In Corridor 1 with the Blok M to Kota route, Transjakarta modified the route towards Blok M starting from the Sarinah bus stop - Sarinah red light - go off the track - Bank Indonesia red light - turn left - Jl.Kebon Sirih - Hotel Milenium turn left - Jl.Fachrudin - Jati Baru go straight - Jl.Cideng Barat - Tarakan red light - Turn - Petojo stop - Harmoni red light - Turn left - Harmoni - City.

Meanwhile, the route towards Blok M starts from City Stop - Harmoni - Harmoni Red Light - Turn left - turn left - turn back after Juanda bus stop - Petojo stop - go off the track - Red light - Tarakan turn left - Jl.Cideng Timur - Jl.Jati Baru - Hotel Tugu Asri -TL Hotel Milenium straight - Jl.Kebon Sirih - Bank Indonesia red light, turn right - Sarinah Bus Stop - Blok M.

"The stops that are not served on corridor 1 are Monas and Bank Indonesia (BI) stops," said Prasetia.

As for corridor 2 on the Pulogadung route to Harmoni, buses heading for Harmoni serve via the Senen - Straight - Gunung Sahari route - Golden Truly Red Light - turn left - Samanhudi road - Tembus Mangga Besar - continue Harmoni.

Meanwhile, if you go to Pulogadung, after the service at the Harmoni bus stop turn left - at the Harmoni intersection crossing the veteran road - Pasar baru - Go straight at the Armabar junction - turn right - Enter Corridor 5 (Ancol - Kampung Melayu) - Budi Utomo Bus Stop - Senen - Turn left - Pulogadung.

"The stops that are not served in corridor 2 are Monas, Gambir 2, and Kwitang stops," he said.

On Corridor 3, on the Kalideres to Pasar Baru route, the direction of harmony is applied to a route diversion, while the reverse direction is normal. The diversion starts from passing through the Tomang Line - Harmoni red light - turn left - Harmoni Stop - Back to Kalideres.

Furthermore, Non-BRT 1A services with the PIK route to City Hall experience a shortening route from PIK to Kota. The stops that do not serve are the Glodok, Olimo, Mangga Besar, Sawah Besar, Harmoni, Monas, and City Hall Bus Stops.

5C services on the PGC to Harmoni route experienced a route diversion for the fleet heading to Harmoni, while the reverse direction was normal. The transfer is via the Samanhudi - Senen - Straight - Gunung Sahari route - Golden Truli Red Light - Turn left - Samanhudi road - through the big Mangga.

Service 6A with the Ragunan route to Monas Via Kuningan and 6B with the Ragunan route to Monas Via Semanggi has a shortened route to Ragunan - Tosari - then turns back at the Hotel Indonesia (HI) Roundabout.

"The stops that do not serve this service are the HI roundabout stop, Sarinah bus stop, Bank Indonesia bus stop, Monas bus stop," said Prasetya.

Apart from the routes above, our operations are still running normally. Transjakarta also coordinates with Polda Metro Jaya to ensure the safety of both customers, field officers and the continuity of Transjakarta operations today.

"Services will return to normal when conditions are conducive and can be crossed by bus fleets," he added.
