Airlangga: Golkar's Halalbihalal Moment To Prepare For Victory In 2024

JAKARTA - The Golkar Party DPP held a hybrid gathering and halal bihalal for all administrators throughout Indonesia.

General Chairperson of the Golkar Party DPP Airlangga Hartarto said that the gathering and the halal-bihalal momentum carried out by the party bearing the banyan tree were an opportunity to monitor readiness to win the 2024 General Election.

Airlangga said, in the gathering celebrating Eid Al-Fitr 1443 Hijri this time, the DPP also explained the current situation to all administrators throughout Indonesia.

The DPP also updates information so that all cadres can design the party and presidential candidates that will be promoted in 2024.

"Of course we will update all developments, so that from the center to the regions all will take the same steps (for the winning strategy)," said Airlangga on the sidelines of the halalbihalal with the Golkar Party officials quoted from a written statement, Wednesday, May 18.

Airlangga said Golkar cadres in the regions also received explanations regarding the current situation in Indonesia, including the achievements of handling COVID-19.

In addition, the success of economic recovery and the 2022 Eid homecoming. Because some of the banyan party cadres are regional heads in their respective regions.

"It is also related to the achievements of handling the COVID-19 pandemic, because some of the DPD heads are governors, regents, mayors," said Airlangga.

The Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs said that all Golkar cadres must be ready to face the 2024 General Election. Airlangga reminded that next month all political parties have entered the stage of organizing the 2024 General Election.

The meeting with all DPD Golkar heads in Indonesia was also a place to convey the development of cooperation between the three political parties.

It is known that Golkar together with PAN and PPP agreed to cooperate by forming the United Indonesia Coalition (KIB). The cooperation between the three political parties will be carried out at all levels from the center to regional administrators.

"The readiness of all levels of the Golkar Party management includes being given an explanation about the development of cooperation between the three political parties," said Airlangga.
