MANADO - The recovery rate for residents in North Sulawesi Province who were confirmed positive for COVID-19 is 97.66 percent.

"The total number of residents who have recovered from COVID-19 has now reached 50,145 after an additional case was added," said Head of the North Sulawesi Health Service, Dr. Debie KR Kalalo, MSc.PH in Manado, as reported by Antara, Wednesday, May 18.

The only recovered cases that have increased are from the Sangihe Islands Regency.

He added that the accumulation of positive confirmed cases of COVID-19 reached 51,344 people, there were no additional new cases in the last few days. "We also continue to encourage people to immediately get a complete dose of vaccination at health facilities that provide this service," he said.
