BOGOR - President Joko Widodo ordered the acting Bogor Regent Iwan Setiawan to continue to maximize services in the Bogor Regency Government, West Java, after the inactive Regent Ade Yasin was detained by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).

"I was asked directly by the president earlier. He asked, the service is still running right?" said Iwan after accompanying Jokowi to monitor the price of bulk cooking oil at the Cibinong Market, reported by Antara, Tuesday, May 17.

According to him, when President Jokowi was about to leave the market, from inside the car he called him and conveyed a special message to Iwan so that services to the community would continue to run optimally.

Iwan also emphasized that he is ready to carry out services to the community as usual. President Jokowi then gave his enthusiasm and support so that the service was carried out optimally.

"Essentially he asked directly and gave support so that services to the community continue to run," said Iwan.

Social Minister Tri Rismaharini who was present to accompany Jokowi also encouraged Iwan. Just like the President, Risma also asked that services for Bogor residents should not stop.

"Alhamdulillah, Mrs. Risma also gave advice. We had a chat with him and the hope was the same, asking for services to the community not to be disturbed. Mr. Danrem, Mr. Kapolda Jabar were also the same, had time to embrace me and pray. Alhamdulillah, this is our motivation to continue to provide services to the community , said Ivan.

Iwan admitted that he had asked his staff to continue to provide the best service for the community. According to him, it is the duty of every ASN to work optimally and to serve the community.
