JAKARTA - This is the atmosphere in the Gelora Bung Karno area, Senayan, Central Jakarta, Saturday (14/5), ahead of the May Day Fiesta event. The Labor Party and the Indonesian Labor Movement held a May Day Fiesta in the Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) area, Central Jakarta. There were 18 demands that were voiced, including rejecting low wages to eliminating outsourcing. Based on VOI's monitoring at GBK, the mass of action has started arriving by bus. The atmosphere of traffic, observed from the GBK Archery Gate, buses have started to fill the location and there are activities to raise and lower the workers. Police officers are also seen trying to regulate the streets so that there is no congestion. A total of 5,260 joint officers were alerted. The May Day Fiesta will be attended by 60,000 people consisting of workers' elements. Watch the video below.
