Forming A United Indonesia Coalition With Golkar-PAN, PPP: Beautiful Cooperation Between Political Parties

JAKARTA - The chairman of the United Development Party (PPP), Suharso Monoarfa, agrees with the formation of the United Indonesia Coalition initiated by the General Chair of Golkar, Airlangga Hartarto.

According to Suharso, the unification of three political parties namely PPP, PAN and Golkar is a form of cooperation that can complement each other for the good of the nation in the future.

"The cooperation is much earlier, the more beautiful between fellow political parties to complement each other, and to strengthen our togetherness," said Suharso in his statement, Friday, May 13.

In addition, Suharso said, the coalition of three political parties was also to distance the divisions that had occurred in the 2019 general election. He hoped that the entrenchment would not be repeated in the upcoming 2024 Simultaneous Elections.

"As a big nation, we show the world that we can also happily carry out elections well," he said.

As part of the Jokowi-Ma'ruf Amin government coalition, the Minister of National Development Planning/Bappenas ensures that the elites of the three parties agree to remain responsible for sustainable development for the benefit of all the people and the entire nation.

"We ensure that the entire journey of accountability that must be carried out by the government, our period must be completed thoroughly and properly. And give birth to the legacies for the people and the nation until this term of office in 2024," said Suharso.

Previously, Airlangga Hartarto stated that Golkar, PPP and PAN were united in a coalition in a meeting on Thursday, May 12, evening. In fact, he likens unity to the symbol of each political party.

"Unity is banyan, natural sun, and baitullah. So if the banyan tree must be lit by the sun, it will turn green and when it grows, we can build together and continue to get the pleasure of Allah SWT," said Airlangga after last night's meeting.
