JAKARTA - A young woman was stunned when she woke up and saw one of her TikTok videos getting 10 million views overnight.
Jiddana Dusturia, from Banyuwangi Regency, East Java Province, accidentally uploaded a video sneezing in front of the camera to his TikTok page @ jiddussgrinaaa03.
In the clip, the high school student, known to her friends as Grina, is seen wearing her school uniform as she sits facing the camera.
She suddenly sneezes, forcing him to re-record the video.
"I left the video (sneezing) on the draft, and then I accidentally pressed the upload button before I went to sleep," said Grina as reported by the Daily Star, Tuesday yesterday.
"At that time I didn't realize that the video had been uploaded to my TikTok."
Many viewers have commented that the video appeared on their For You Page (FYP), which means the content has gone viral.
The girl added: "The next day my group chat was flooded with (people) saying that (my video) was on FYP!"
The Daily Star said Jiddana told local news site Tribune that the clip was actually a mistake from another video he posted, adding that his nose started to itch as soon as he started filming.
One TikTok user joked: "100% viral content".
"Your video appears on my FYP even without text or hashtags," wrote another.
The third wondered: "Can sneeze get 200,000 likes? I won't be editing videos anymore now."
The next day, Jiddana uploaded the original version of the lip sync clip on his TikTok, saying: "Introduce this inner child who has become a FYP just by sneezing."
