The handover of Sorowako Airport and airport management was carried out directly by the President Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of PT Vale Indonesia Tbk, Febriany Eddy to the Governor of South Sulawesi Andi Sudirman Sulaiman at the 19th Anniversary of East Luwu Regency, South Sulawesi, Thursday, 12 May.

There are three objects handed over by PT Vale, namely an area of 25.4 hectares (ha), movable goods in the form of assets that function as facilities and infrastructure that support the operation of Sorowako Airport, and management of airport services for Sorowako Airport in East Luwu.

The handover of the airport is also part of Andi Sudirman's great effort to continuously encourage multinational and national companies operating in South Sulawesi to significantly contribute to the people of South Sulawesi.

Andi Sudirman expressed his gratitude and appreciation for PT Vale Indonesia for its dedication and contribution to the people of South Sulawesi.
