35 Companies In South Sumatra Don't Give THR, Manpower And Transmigration Offices Come One By One

SUMSEL - The Manpower and Transmigration Service (Disnakertrans) of South Sumatra (Sumsel) processed 35 companies whose employees reported that they did not provide holiday allowances (THR) on Eid Al-Fitr 1443 Hijri/2022.

"To process the THR complaint, an officer is currently being dispatched to a company whose employees report it to conduct clarification and mediation," said Head of Supervision of the South Sumatra Manpower and Transmigration Office, Erman R. in Palembang, Thursday, May 12.

According to him, the team is still working to visit one by one the companies that reportedly do not provide THR to their employees.

"The team went to the companies that were complained about one by one to mediate between employees and the company in order to get solutions to the problems at hand. The results of the mediation are expected to get an agreement to be submitted to the Ministry of Manpower," he said, as reported by Antara.

He explained, based on data from the THR complaint post officer of the Manpower and Transmigration Office of South Sumatra this year there were 35 companies reported not to provide holiday allowances to their employees.

Companies that are reported not to provide THR are engaged in plantations, hospital outsourcing employees, retail and education.

The company has been reported to the Ministry of Manpower, to impose sanctions on the problematic company depending on the results of mediation and considerations from the Ministry of Manpower in accordance with applicable regulations.
