DKI DPRD Undergoes 2023-2026 Development Plan

JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) is studying the DKI Jakarta Regional Development Plan (RPD) for 2023-2026.

Deputy Chairperson of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Mohamad Taufik, said that the deepening of the executive's explanation regarding the RPD was very important for the achievement of all activities to meet the needs of the community that would be carried out in that fiscal year.

"The people's representation is the DPRD, so we invite you to have a discussion to formulate it," said Taufik, quoted by Antara, Wednesday, May 11.

This is done so that the regional development plan has the involvement of the people. "We are now synchronizing what activities must be carried out which are the needs of the community, which we have found in the field," he said.

In order for the plan to live up to expectations, Taufik requested that the five commissions in the DPRD immediately review the RPD 2023-2026.

The hope is that there are no activities that have been abandoned because they have collided with the rules or do not have an activity program.

"We will give the commission 10 days to discuss the RKPD (Local Government Work Plan) derived from this RPD, so that what the governor officials will do later is a joint program with the community," he said.

The head of the Nasdem Party faction, Wibi Andrino, said the same thing, who asked to be given time for the mission or the faction to correct the priority program of activities listed in the RPD.

"I beg to be given time to prepare myself more thoroughly to see priority activities, so that they can be used as guidelines or humps or houses for proposed activities in the future," he said.

Head of DKI Jakarta Bappeda Nasrudin Djoko Surjono explained that the preparation of the RPD for 2023-2026 had gone through various stages according to applicable procedures.

"In formulating the problems that will become the reference for the RPD, we also seek from the experts, so that they provide input regarding points that need to be developed and overcome in DKI in the 2023-2026 period," he said.
