YOGYAKARTA - The consort of the King of the Yogyakarta Palace Sri Sultan Hamengku Buwono X, Gusti Kanjeng Ratu (GKR) Hemas, said that acts of bullying or bullying can be prevented by avoiding the use of the term 'bad boy'.

"We will now and forever use the term children with risky associations. This is so that children are not bullied," said GKR Hemas at Gedhong Pracimasana, Kepatihan Complex, Yogyakarta, Wednesday 11 May.

Hemas said that there are many cases of children that must be considered so that coordination of various parties is needed, especially to unravel social problems, education, to the problem of drug abuse.

According to him, the cooperation of all stakeholders, ranging from related OPD, NGOs to TP PKK is needed to synergize to formulate and make strategies and policies for handling social problems involving children.

He said, as the Chair of the DIY PKK Mobilization Team, his party would wait for the DIY Regional Government to prepare a place for rehabilitation and assistance for children with risky relationships.

The preparation of the place, according to him, had actually been done before, but it was still not optimal for cooperation between related institutions.

"Essentially, we are synergizing to help the DIY local government because we don't want Yogyakarta to become a target for only exposing negative things," he said.

DIY Regional Secretary Kadarmanta Baskara Aji said that the Yogyakarta Regional Government is currently building a special place as a center for rehabilitation and assistance for children with risky relationships in Pundong, Bantul.

The construction is a follow-up to the Yogyakarta Regional Government's agreement to provide guidance for children who are involved in social problems, especially those who commit street crimes.

"While waiting for the construction to be completed, the place that can be used temporarily is the Child Rehabilitation and Parenting Center belonging to the DIY Social Service. If it's still not enough, we can use the Youth Center owned by the DIY Youth Education and Sports Office," said Baskara Aji.
