Mojokerto City Government Maximizes The Role Of CCTV To Monitor City Security

JAKARTA - The Mojokerto City Government, East Java, has integrated CCTV with the Command Center to monitor public order security (kamtibmas).

The Mayor of Mojokerto Ika Puspitasari said that his party was building integrated supervision through the Command Center located at the Mojokerto Mayor's Office.

"I want to make sure that the Mojokerto City Government will soon have a Command Center which will be centralized in the mayor's office, which we will function as a joint control and control center," Ika said, Tuesday, May 10, quoted from Antara.

He said that in the future vertical agencies could jointly use and place their operators in that place and would integrate all CCTV in public areas and government areas at the Command Center.

Ning Ita, the mayor's nickname, Ika Puspitasari, explained that currently Dishub already has 56 CCTVs spread across 16 points throughout Mojokerto City.

In the future, it will also be integrated with the Command Center along with all CCTV in each OPD.

"If it is clear that Dishub has 56 CCTVs, we will also take inventory of what is in each OPD, then those that are privately owned are in public areas, for example in malls, in shopping centers that are widely accessed by the public," he said.

With integrated supervision at the Mojokerto City Government's Command Center, Ning Ita hopes to be able to jointly monitor and supervise when there are things that require fast handling, there are factual conditions validity.

He also said that in the future the Mojokerto City Government would add new CCTV points in public areas in accordance with the needs and availability of the existing budget.
