Dozens Of Victims Of Fictional Arisan Report To The Surakarta Police

SOLO - Dozens of people who became victims of a fictitious online social gathering case came to the Surakartai City Police Headquarters to report a married couple (couple) with the initials Br and Du, residents of Mojosongo, Jebres, Solo, for not fulfilling their promise.

Retno Jumiyati (31), a resident of Boyolali, one of the victims explained that she participated in an alleged fictitious social gathering online with a total loss of Rp129.85 million, in the period from February to April 2022.

Retno admitted that she happened to be the last one to auction every day, almost Rp. 8 million to Rp. 10 million. He had actually received it but was not allowed to accept it and the money was replayed at the auction.

Another victim, Rubi (28), a resident of Boyolali, admitted that the total loss reached around Rp. 50 million, so he and other victims went to the Surakarta Police Station to mediate to report the reported party.

"The total number of victims who participated in the fictitious online social gathering was 40 people, with a total loss of around Rp. 2 billion," he said.

In fact, before he had time to go to the Surakarta Police, he had several times mediated with the reported party after fleeing to Yogyakarta and Bali. However, the victims were only given promises that they would be compensated for the money that reached Rp2 billion.
