MEDAN - The North Sumatra Police revealed a case of throwing stones at a Sartika bus which resulted in the death of a homecomer with the initials MA (19), on Jalan Lintas Sumatra, Indrapura, Batubara Regency.

North Sumatra Police Director General Kombes Tatan Dirsan Atmaja said from the disclosure, the police arrested 2 perpetrators, namely BFS (28) and ES (37) in different locations.

In that case, ES (37) played the role of the perpetrator's brain. Meanwhile, BFS (28) is the sole executor.

Kombes Tatan said the stone-throwing was not a disturbance to Kamtibmas during the homecoming period. He explained that the motive for the action was personal revenge because ES felt hurt after being fired from the public transportation company.

"The motive for the action was hurt, because ES was the driver of the public transportation and was fired. He felt hurt, so he took action on April 29, which was previously planned," said Kombes Tatan, Monday, May 9.

Before acting, ES ordered BFS to throw stones at the bus window because they only wanted to provide terror. When in action, ES paid BFS with money of Rp. 300 thousand.

"However, due to the viral death incident, finally there was an addition that was requested by the executor, then the target was random. Because the target of the car was only public transportation," he said.

"Because someone died, the perpetrator's brain sent Rp 3 million to the executor as an escape capital," he continued.

The perpetrator was arrested in Pematangsiantar City, Friday, May 6. Meanwhile, ES was arrested in Indrayaman Village, Tanjung Tiram District, Batubara Regency.

"For his actions, the perpetrator was charged with article 355 paragraph 2 subsidiary article 353 subsidiary 351 paragraph 3 of the Criminal Code with a penalty of 15 years," said Kombes Tatan.

It is known that the stone-throwing took place on Friday, April 29. The victim died Thursday, May 5 after 6 days of receiving treatment at the Bina Kasih Hospital, Medan.

The victim's sister, Khairunnisa, said the victim was sitting in the front seat when suddenly a stone was thrown by OTK on the glass front, hitting her brother.

"Mamak and my brother were going to Aceh by bus sitting in the front seat, suddenly someone from the front threw a stone at my brother," said Khairunnisa.

The stone hurled through the windshield of the bus and hit the victim in the head.

Khairunnisa added that at the time of the incident she was also on the bus, but she was sitting in the back seat of the passenger after the driver.
