JAKARTA - The Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker) has confirmed that it will follow up on the 2022 holiday allowance (THR) report that has been submitted to the THR Command Post.

The Ministry of Manpower has facilitated consultations and complaints on religious THR in 2022 from April 8 to May 8, 2022 through the Ministry of Manpower virtual THR Command Post.

"So this virtual THR Command Post was created to anticipate the occurrence of complaints, ignorance, and discrepancies in the implementation of THR payments in 2022," said Secretary General of the Ministry of Manpower Anwar Sanusi in a written statement received in Jakarta, Monday 9 May.

He said, the THR Command Post was really presented to all parties to conduct consultations and complaints related to THR. "Until the closing of the Ministry of Manpower's virtual THR Command Post on May 8, 2022, as many as 5,680 reports were submitted to the Ministry of Manpower's virtual THR Command Post, which consisted of 3,037 online complaints. (54 percent) and online consultations as many as 2,643 (46 percent)," he said.

He explained that the number of 3,037 online complaints came from 1,758 companies. The issues that were complained of were 1,438 THR not being paid, 1,235 THR not in accordance with the provisions, and 364 THR being late.

"From the report, as many as 72 companies have been followed up and 1,686 companies are in the process," he said.

Anwar Sanusi added that his party continues to encourage the regional Manpower Office (Disnaker) to follow up on any complaints received and can be handled entirely.

In addition, he continued, the Ministry of Manpower also held several coordination meetings with the regional Manpower Office to monitor and ensure that every complaint was followed up by the labor inspector.

"This follow-up is carried out with the stages of examination, up to the issuance of a memorandum of examination and recommendations for the imposition of administrative sanctions if the entrepreneur still does not comply," he said.

The follow-up to the THR complaint, said Anwar, was carried out through an inspection by the labor inspector.

He said, if non-compliance was found with the implementation of the THR in 2022, the first inspection memo was given with a maximum period of fulfillment of seven days from the time the inspection note was received by the company.

"Companies that have been given the first inspection note continue to be monitored. If the deadline for fulfilling the first inspection note is not implemented, the Labor Inspector will re-examine it by issuing a second inspection note with the same fulfillment period, namely seven days," he said.

Meanwhile, out of 2,643 online consultations, a total of 1,724 consultations have been responded to and the remaining 919 are still in the process of being completed.
