Tomorrow There Will Be A Demonstration Against The Job Creation Law, The Police To Tighten Security At The State Palace

JAKARTA - The Head of Metro Jaya Police, Inspector General Nana Sudjana, said that his party would tighten security around the State Palace. This was done following a demonstration that will be held on Tuesday, October 13th.

According to Nana, based on the data obtained, there were 1,000 people participating in the action. Even though he already knows the number of participants in the action, he has not revealed that he will deploy the number of police personnel.

"The National Police is ready to secure tomorrow's action, yes. Especially for the Palace, of course we will maximize it for security," said Nana at Polda Metro Jaya, Jakarta, Monday, October 12.

Then, he revealed, there were two calls for demonstrations against the ratification of the Job Creation Law circulating on social media. One of them is untrue or hoax.

Nana said, of the two calls circulating on social media, including the National Anti-Communist Alliance (ANAK) of the Republic of Indonesia and the Alumni Brotherhood (212). The truth is, he said, the CHILDREN of the Republic of Indonesia, because PA 212 is part of it.

"(Call for demonstrations) After we confirm, apparently one is a hoax, yes. The truth is the CHILDREN of the Republic of Indonesia," said Nana to reporters, Monday, October 12.

The two calls contained a demonstration plan at the State Palace on Tuesday, October 13. In fact, PA 212 is part of the CHILDREN of the Republic of Indonesia.

Previously it was reported that the National Anti-Communist Alliance (ANAK) NKRI would hold a demonstration against the Job Creation Law. The action is planned to take place on Tuesday, October 13.

The mass organizations in this alliance are the 212 Alumni Brotherhood (PA), the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) and the Ulama Fatwa Guard National Movement (GNPF).

PA 212 Wasekjen Novel Bamukmin said the demonstration would be centered in front of the State Palace.

"The action will begin at around 13.00 WIB. It is centered in front of the State Palace and the gathering point at the Horse Statue," Novel Bakmumin told VOI, Monday, October 12.

Novel has not been able to confirm the number of people who will take part in this action. But he is sure that thousands of people will join in the action against the Job Creation Law.

As for the matter with permission to action, Novel did not comment. He only said that if the action would lead President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) to cancel the ratification of the Job Creation Law.

"Of course we demand that the Job Creation Law be canceled," he said.
