Ruhut And Ngabalin 'Angry' Because Jokowi Is Afraid To Lose Prestige To Anies, Refly Harun: Not Intellectual Like Thugs

JAKARTA - Constitutional law expert Refly Harun assesses the Main Expert Staff of the Presidential Staff Office (KSP), Ali Mochtar Ngabalin, and PDI-P politician Ruhut Sitompul and does not describe the Palace's intellectuality in responding to criticism.

Refly replied to Ruhut and Ngabalin's comments regarding his analysis of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) who did not as usual choose the place for Eid prayer 2022 instead of the Istiqlal Mosque in Jakarta.

"It has made two palace courtiers hot, two Palace communicators who have often used narratives or verbal attacks to criticize President Jokowi by saying things that don't actually describe intellectuality, only describe the behavior of street thugs", he said on his YouTube account Refly Harun, Friday, May 6th.

Refly was surprised by Ruhut and Ngabalin who did not build a frame of mind like an analyst. The response from the two regarding criticism of the Palace, said Refly, was only in the form of gossip.

According to Refly, the public who thinks with common sense knows the nature of the two Palace communicators.

"Because of the difficulty of the Palace communicator, they don't want to think from an analytical perspective, they only want to do verbal violence, think about it like that", he said.

However, Refly admitted that his assessment was not necessarily correct. Because according to him, there is no absolute truth so what he conveys is related to the analysis is limited to testing the water.

"But again, I apologize, this is just a term, in quotes [assessment] of course, because President Jokowi feels sorry if he is surrounded by bad communicators", he added.

"For Ngabalin Minal Aidzin Wal Faizin, I apologize physically and mentally because it is still in the Eid atmosphere", continued Refly.

Previously, Refly Harun gave an analysis that President Jokowi was afraid of losing his prestige with the Governor of DKI Jakarta, Anies Baswedan so he did not pray Eid as usual in Jakarta. Jokowi chose the location for the prayer, which coincided with Syawal 1, 1443 Hijrah, in the courtyard of the Agung Building, Yogyakarta Presidential Palace, Monday, May 2.

Anies is known to have planned to hold the 2022 Eid prayer at the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS).

Refly's statement invited Ngabalin to comment. According to Ngabalin, Refly has a short axis and has a low understanding of assessing the situation.

"Apparently this friend is very hurt. Know, O Professor, nothing can destroy iron except the rust, nothing can destroy a person except his mindset", said Ngabalin on his Twitter account, @AliNgabalinNew, Wednesday, May 4.

"How can there be legal experts like you with a short axis or a small and low mindset", said Ngabalin.

Similar to Ngabalin, Ruhut Sitompul also voiced his voice. The former Democrat Party politician has attached the Kadrun stamp to Refly, who he considers to be offended by the government.

"This is how the Kadrun analyst who was hurt twice failed to become the President Commissioner of a SOEs company, was fired because he didn't know how to work, a bitter grudge comparing the President with Gabenda, who all beloved Indonesian people felt the success of the Governor before becoming the 7th President of RI MERDEKA", said Ruhut on his Twitter account @ruhutsitompul.
