The Spike Of Eid Backflow In Kalimalang-Bekasi Predicted To Occur On Friday May 6

BEKASI - Officials estimate the backflow density on the Kalimalang-Bekasi route, Bekasi City will occur on Friday, May 6.

"The surge in backflow of homecomers will occur starting from Friday, Saturday and Sunday," said Iptu Devi Sumardiono, security post officer for Mega Bekasi Hypermall Team B.

His party coordinates with the transportation service and Jasa Marga to overcome congestion during the return flow.

"On Friday, there will be traffic engineering and 'one way' (one way) just choose to leave the East Bekasi toll road or West Bekasi toll road. So, we have prepared," he said.

Iptu Sumardiono said there would be an expansion of the toll gate for motorists from Cikampek to Jakarta.

This was done to break up traffic jams from Cikampek to Jakarta.

"For two-wheeled and four-wheeled vehicles from 08.00 to 16.00 WIB, two-wheeled vehicles are 1,180, four-wheeled vehicles are 928. At 10.00-12.00 WIB, two-wheeled vehicles are 2,670, while four-wheeled vehicles are 1,874, " he said.

Then at 12.00-14.00 WIB, two-wheeled vehicles are 3,245, four-wheeled vehicles are 2,130.

"At 14.00 - 16.00 WIB, there were 5,741 two-wheeled vehicles, while 3,892 four-wheeled vehicles," said Sumardiono.

Local travelers seem to dominate the Kalimalang-Bekasi route, Bekasi City with smooth traffic conditions on D+1 Eid 2022 or Wednesday.

The Kalimalang-Bekasi City area is an alternative route for travelers heading to Central and East Java from Jakarta, Depok, Tangerang and Bekasi.

Meanwhile at the West Bekasi Toll Gate, the journey from Jakarta to Cikampek was smooth.
