One-way Traffic Engineering On Cikampek Toll Road Ends: Next Arrangement Depends On Situation

JAKARTA - Jasa Marga at the discretion of the Police closed the engineering of one-way traffic or contra flow on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road.

"Since the implementation of the contra flow today at Km 36+800 of the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road to Km 86 of the Cikopo-Palimanan Toll Road, at the discretion of the Police, Jasa Marga has closed the contra flow since 17.15 WIB. at 20:42 WIB," said General Manager Representative Office 1 Jasamarga Transjawa Tollroad Regional Division Muhammad Taufik Akbar in a written statement received by Antara in Jakarta, Tuesday.

Meanwhile, access to the Mohamed Bin Zayed (MBZ) Toll Flyover from Jatiasih, Kalimalang and Jatibening opens at 16.37 WIB.

Furthermore, opening and closing the access will adjust the situation and traffic conditions according to the discretion of the Police.

Previously, Jasa Marga, at the discretion of the Police, extended the contra flow traffic engineering for KM 47 of the Jakarta-Cikampek or Japek Toll Road in order to reduce congestion.

As for the details of the implementation of contra flow, namely Km 36 to Km 47, the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road towards Cikampek contra flow is opened in 1 lane.

Then at Km 47 to Km 70 the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road towards Cikampek contra flow opens 2 lanes. Access to the contra flow lane at Km 47 is done by opening and closing it situationally.

At Km 70 to Km 72 the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road contra flow opens in 1 lane and from Km 72 to Km 88 the Cikopo-Palimanan toll road opens 1 lane.
