Was Delayed, Honor For 233 Health Workers From January-March Finally Paid North Morowali Regency

NORTH MOROWALI - The government of North Morowali Regency of Central Sulawesi Province has paid the honorarium for all contracted health workers in the area during the period January to March 2022 after being delayed.

"It has been paid in full before the Eid holiday. I myself was involved in transferring the funds to the accounts of each health worker contracted by the North Morowali Regency Government", said Head of the North Morowali Health Service, Alno Berniat Sanampe, as quoted by Antara, Sunday, May 1.

He explained that the number of health workers who had paid the honorarium was 233 people, consisting of 27 doctors and 206 people who worked as village midwives, village nurses, administrative staff, and drivers.

"The total honorarium paid reached IDR 1.795 billion. A total of IDR 392 million of which was intended to pay the honorarium for doctors", he said.

Alno said the delay in payment of honorariums was due to administrative improvements and the legal basis for the existence of temporary employee health workers (PTT) because, in the budget book, there was no PTT nomenclature but only honorarium workers.

During the legalization process to pay the honorarium for the health workers, his party had to hold several meetings with the North Morowali Regency Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD) to reach an agreement.

"Thank God, finally a mutual agreement was reached to change the nomenclature of PTT health workers to Regional Contract Health Workers (TKKD). In changing the nomenclature, we did not change the number of health workers and the value of the honorarium they received", he added.

He hopes that the honorarium that has been received by all health workers can spur them to further improve their discipline and performance in providing excellent health services to the community.
