JAKARTA – The drama ahead of Lebaran 1443 Hijriah came from an officer for handling public infrastructure and facilities (PPSU) in Sawah Besar, Central Jakarta, Ray Prama Abdullah (28). The PPSU officer had made a 'prank' all over Jakarta. Ray admitted that the holiday allowance (THR) of Rp. 4.4 million was confiscated by a gang of robbers in front of Husada Hospital, Jalan Mangga Besar Raya, Sawah Besar District, Central Jakarta.

Ray, who was making up stories at that time, explained that the incident began when he took money from an automated teller machine (ATM). Then he continued his work, sweeping the streets.

"About five minutes from there I was suddenly approached. It was like being arrested by the police because of drugs. I was pinned, I was shocked. The one from the side hit me in the right stomach. There I was already weak," Ray's fictional story, as previously reported by VOI , Wednesday 27 April.

Ray continued the hoax story, the perpetrators then reached into his bag and took a number of valuables.

"The one from the left side he took out a sickle. The perpetrator said you just shut up," said Ray, looking fluent in speaking it.

The victim said the perpetrators numbered 10 people. The victim suspects that the perpetrators are gangsters who often convoy on the road. The incident occurred on Wednesday, April 27, in the morning, around 05.30 WIB. According to his confession, he often goes to work early in the morning.

In the story he wrote, Ray plans to buy family necessities, to buy clothes and food for iftar.

Deputy Governor of DKI Riza Patria Sympathetic

Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta, Ahmad Riza Patria, said he was concerned about Ray's accident. The working deputy, Anies Baswedan, said that the DKI Provincial Government would visit and replace the THR for the PPSU officer, so that he could celebrate Eid al-Fitr. "Of course we are concerned that our PPSU has been robbed. was replaced," said Riza at the DKI Jakarta City Hall, Thursday, April 28. Riza also admitted that his party had asked the police to arrest the perpetrators of the robbery. On that occasion, Riza regretted that there were still crimes in the capital. Ray managed to 'compose beautifully' so that many people believed the PPSU officer's fake story. The Sawah Besar Police Chief Kompol Maulana Mukarom ordered his members to arrest the perpetrators of Ray's THR money robber.

"The burglary case is still under investigation," said Maulana at the time, when he didn't know Ray's report was fake, Thursday, 28.

Maulana also explained that his party was aware of the incident even though the victim had not made a report to the police.

"Initially we received information that there was an incident yesterday (Wednesday) at 5 am that there was an incident of confiscation, theft with violence article 365. The victim is on behalf of Ray Prama Abdullah," he said.

"Initially the victim had not made a report to the Sawah Besar police," he continued.

Suspicious Police

The Criminal Investigation Unit of the Sawah Besar Police, which conducted an investigation and examination at the scene, finally felt that there was something odd about this case.

The Head of Criminal Investigation Unit for the Sawah Besar Police, AKP Wildan, said that from the results of the police investigation there were no signs of an incident at the crime scene (TKP).

"We analyzed the crime scene, looked for witnesses, checked CCTV, there was no such incident," said AKP Wildan to VOI, Thursday, April 28.

After the examination, investigation and crime scene processing were carried out, the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit for Sawah Besar Police AKP Wildan confirmed that the PPSU officer named Ray Prama Abdullah (28) made false statements related to the case of theft of holiday allowances (THR) worth Rp. 4.4 million.

The Kanit ensured that the burglary incident that happened to PPSU, Mangga Dua Selatan Village, was not true or a hoax. He was sure, because his party found money transfers to online gambling sites in large amounts.

"We can confirm that this incident did not exist from the results of our investigation and the relevant confession," said Wildan. According to Wildan, the PPSU also admitted that he made the (false) report because he was forced to cover up his fears.

"Actually he ran out of money because of gambling. He was afraid of his wife. Even though his money was used up for online gambling playing slots (gambling)," said Wildan.

Even so, the investigative team has not been able to determine the suspect against the PPSU officer who had created a scene on social media.

Clarification and Apologizing

Ray's fictional story is revealed. The PPSU officer finally made a video clarifying the false report he had made. In the short video, Ray said that his THR amounting to Rp. 4.4 million was stolen as a hoax. He deliberately made the report because he was afraid of his wife.

“I would like to clarify regarding the report I made. That the report is not true. And the incident was like a robbery did not exist. For the money I took, it was worth 200 thousand at the ATM, and the rest of my salary (THR) I used to play online gambling. Because I was worried that my wife would be angry, so I did or took the excuse that I was robbed. And for the police chief, I apologize profusely, and thank you for the compensation you have given me.” said Ray accompanied by his uncle in the 1 minute 16 second video.
