Kudus Police Alert Mobile Patrol Team To Unravel Traffic Congestion

KUDUS - Kudus Resort Police, Central Java, has prepared a "mobile" patrol team to secure and unravel traffic jams on the Lebaran homecoming route in the jurisdiction of the local Police.

The Head of Traffic at the Kudus Police, AKP Galuh Pandu Pandega, said the number of personnel for the "mobile" patrol team that was prepared was 15 personnel, so that when there was a traffic density at a certain point, they were immediately dispatched to break up the density.

One area that is considered prone to causing traffic jams is in front of the entrance to Pasar Jekulo or Pasar Bareng and between the Ngembal Line area and the Kerawang intersection.

The Kudus Police has also set up security posts to monitor traffic flow on inter-district routes and monitor traffic conditions in urban areas. Alternative routes are also available to anticipate congestion at these two vulnerable points.

"For the time being, the homecoming flow is still smooth and there is no visible congestion or congestion, both traffic flow from Semarang to Pati and from Pati to Semarang," he said in Kudus as reported by Antara, Friday, April 29.

The Secretary of the Transportation Service of Kudus Regency, Putut Sri Kuncoro, added that the potential for traffic jams in addition to being in front of Pasar Bareng and the intersection of four kerawang, plus the Bulusan tradition.

"Especially for the Bulusan tradition in Hadipolo Village, Jekulo District, there is the potential for traffic jams to occur when the tradition is actually held, considering that currently there is still a pandemic, even if it is held in a simple manner and without crowds like before," he said.

To overcome the congestion of the Bulusan tradition, the Kudus Dishub has prepared an alternative road via STAIN Kudus, then heading Ngetuk - Honggosoco - Tanjungrejo - Klaling to Jalan Pantura Timur Kudus towards Pati.

While overcoming traffic jams in front of Pasar Bareng and Kerawang, vehicles from Pati will pass through the Terban intersection to the left towards Pladen, Bulungcangkring, Sadang, Hadiwarno to the Japanese intersection, then head to Jalan Ringar Kudus to continue on to Semarang. On the other hand, traffic from Semarang is passed through the Kerawang intersection to the left towards Tanjungrejo to Terban.
