BANJARMASIN - The Provincial Government of South Kalimantan has increased assistance for political parties to Rp. 5,000 per vote that has won seats in the South Kalimantan DPRD as a result of the 2019 elections for the 2022 budget.

The Governor of South Kalimantan, Sahbirin Noor, accompanied by the Chairman of the South Kalimantan DPRD, H Supian HK, gave the certificate for the assistance of political parties in 2022 to the administrators of 10 political parties at the Mahligai Pancasila Building, Banjarmasin, Thursday, April 28.

"This year the South Kalimantan Provincial Government has increased the amount of assistance for political parties based on valid votes from IDR 1,200 per vote in 2021 to IDR 5,000 per vote in 2022," Noor said as quoted by Antara.

According to him, there were as many as 10 political parties that received this assistance, because they had representation in the South Kalimantan Provincial DPRD for the 2019-2024 period.

The highest political parties that received assistance were the Golkar Party of Rp. 2,094 billion, the PDI-P of Rp. 1.384 billion, the Gerindra Party of Rp. 1.381 billion, and PAN of Rp.954 million.

Furthermore, PKS was Rp. 835 million, PKB was Rp. 769 million, PPP was Rp. 658 million, the Democratic Party was Rp. 559 million, the NasDem Party was Rp. 568 million, and the Hanura Party was Rp. 192 million.
