Banyumas Regent Asks For Homecoming Vaccine Status Screening

BANYUMAS - Banyumas Regent Achmad Husein asked security post officers for Lebaran 2022 homecoming to screen the COVID-19 vaccine status for travelers entering the Banyumas Regency, Central Java.

"Earlier, I checked that the station was there, it's also here, it's only passive. That's why I asked (to) be active," he said while visiting the Ajibarang Pospam, Banyumas, as reported by Antara, Thursday, April 28.

In this case, the Regent asked in front of the postal service to put a sign that the place was serving the COVID-19 vaccination.

In addition, he also asked the postal staff to periodically look for samples by stopping the travel of some travelers to get information on the status of their vaccines.

"If you haven't been vaccinated, we offer vaccination, but don't force it. Just ask, to take samples," he said. He estimates that the number of homecomers who will enter the Banyumas area on the momentum of Lebaran 2022 will reach around 40,000 people, an increase from the previous few years which was around 32,000. -36,000 people.

Therefore, he invites travelers to spend as much as possible in the Banyumas area in order to move the wheels of the community's economy.

"Shopping as much as possible but must still maintain health protocols," he emphasized.

During a visit accompanied by members of the Banyumas Regional Leadership Communication Forum (Forkompimda), the Regent had the opportunity to hand over a parcel to the Ajibarang Pospam officer.
