Ganjar Urges Travelers To Pay Attention To The Weather And Potential Disasters

CENTRAL JAVA - Central Java (Central Java) Governor Ganjar Pranowo asked the public to monitor weather forecasts and potential disasters before going home for Eid 2022.

Ganjar appealed to people who pass through Central Java when going home to be aware of potential disasters along the route.

"The public needs to monitor information from the BMKG as a guide on the way," he said in Semarang, Wednesday 27 April.

Ganjar explained that he had talked about the comfort and safety of going back and forth with various traffic engineering, but what also needs to be considered is that recent weather conditions are still uncertain.

According to the PDI-P politician, so far the mapping of points that are thought to be prone to disasters around the homecoming route has been carried out and the information will soon be distributed as a guide for road users' journeys.

"So everything has points and then we distribute them. We ask regencies/cities to be alert, BPBD including these volunteers are also on standby, if anything happens in those places, they are ready to help so that we can reduce the number of victims," " said Ganjar, launching Antara.

The Central Java Provincial Government together with relevant stakeholders have prepared several scenarios for handling homecoming and return flows for Eid 2022 so that they are smooth, safe, and comfortable.

It is hoped that the implementation of the 2022 Eid homecoming will run smoothly, and the spread of COVID-19 will be more gentle and controllable, the availability of fuel and basic commodities for the community will also be fulfilled.

According to Ganjar, there are many positive impacts for Central Java Province from the central government being allowed to go home because of economic movements from Jakarta and other cities in Central Java.
