BATANG - The Batang Polres Traffic Unit, Central Java, is preparing a one-way scenario ("one way") for homecoming vehicles that pass from the direction of Jakarta on the Batang-Semarang Toll Road by sterilizing lane B (direction from Semarang to Jakarta).

Kasatlantas Batang Polres AKP Dhayita Daneswari said the one-way scenario was an effort to anticipate the density of vehicle traffic from west to east during the 2022 Eid homecoming flow.

"We have prepared various scenarios and what is certain, two hours before the 'one way' implementation, we will carry out sterilization on route B (the route to Jakarta)," he said in Batang, Antara, Wednesday, April 27.

Likewise, his party will conduct patrols along lane B to anticipate drivers who are stuck during the implementation of the one-way lane. The one-way route scenario will be implemented on May 28-30 May starting at 17.00 WIB until 24.00 WIB.

Then, he said, on May 29-30 May 2022, the one-way route will be carried out starting at 07.00 WIB to 24.00 WIB, while at 00.00 WIB until 05.00 WIB, two-way routes will be applied.

He added that his party had alerted 10 personnel at the rest area, the northern coast route, and eight personnel from the decomposition team and at each exit, namely Kandeman and Duwet, there were eight personnel.

"We will continue to evaluate the handling of going home before the implementation of 'one way'. Evaluation will continue to be carried out with the aim that the implementation of 'one way' can run smoothly," he said.
