Steady, Depok Land And Building Tax Acquisition Exceeds Target

JAKARTA - The Regional Finance Agency (BKD) of Depok City, West Java, noted that until the specified deadline or September 30, 2020, the realization of land and building tax (PBB) revenues exceeded the target, reaching 121.10 percent.

Head of Regional Tax II BKD of Depok City, Muhammad Reza, said that his party is targeting the achievement of PBB amounting to Rp193.45 billion. However, the realization reached IDR 234.26 billion or 121.10 percent of the target.

"Alhamdulillah, with our efforts, by the end of September 2020, the achievement of the UN has reached the target, even more," he said, quoted by Antara, Friday, October 9.

Previously, said Reza, collection efforts had been intensified, such as massive socialization, exemption from administrative sanctions and active collection in collaboration with Bank Jabar Banten (BJB).

"The administrative sanction exemption in the form of this fine, we will also extend it until December 31. So, people can still pay without penalty (if there are arrears)," he explained.

For that, he said, his party appreciates people who are obedient to paying taxes. The income from this tax is used to promote development in Depok City.

"We express our gratitude for the participation of the community in the success of taxes for the development of Depok City. Hopefully the achievement until the end of this year can continue to increase," he said.
