BADUNG - I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, Bali, has prepared an integrated post for Eid air transportation in 2022 for 16 days for service users on the back and forth flow of Lebaran.

"So it is deemed necessary to have special preparations such as preparing an Air Transport Integrated Command Post by synergizing with stakeholders, namely from the Airport Authority Region IV, TNI, Polri, Airnav Indonesia, Meteorological, Climatological, and Geophysical Agency (BMKG), Immigration, Basarnas, Marine and Fisheries Ministry (KKP) and the Airlines as well as Ground Handling", said the General Manager of PT Angkasa Pura I of I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport, Herry AY Sikado, Tuesday, April 26.

The integrated air transport monitoring post is an effort to create security and safety for service users to smooth operations at I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport.

In addition, things that need to be anticipated are the Eid holiday moments related to the opening of international flight activities at I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport.

"So there is a need for alertness from us through the Integrated Command Post which will take place from April 25 to May 10, 2022. Meanwhile, the prediction of the peak flow of Lebaran homecoming will occur on April 29, 2022, and the return flow on May 8, 2022, with a total number of passengers served at its peak of around 25,000 passengers each", said Herry.

"We are also alerting personnel who will monitor the readiness of facilities and services at hours of heavy traffic at I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport, especially the flow of passengers, both departing and arriving", he added.

Meanwhile, the Head of Region IV Airport Authority, Putu Eka Cahyadhi, explained that his party is also preparing to provide vaccination booths for prospective air transport passengers, in collaboration with the Denpasar Class I Port Health Office (KKP), which was opened on April 6.

"Adding air transportation capacity with additional flight plans or extra flights carried out by several airlines also need to get careful attention, so that the process of passenger service on pre-flight, in-flight and post-flight can be carried out consistently according to regulations.
