Driver Loss Of Concentration, Car Hits Busway Separator Until It Rolls Over In Front Of Trisakti Campus

JAKARTA - A mini bus with license plate number B2021PFA driven by the US experienced a traffic accident in front of the Trisaksi University campus on Jalan S Parman, Grogol, West Jakarta.

Head of Laka, Gakkum Sub-Directorate of Ditlantas, Polda Metro Jaya, Kompol Edy Purwanto, said the incident occurred on Saturday, April 23, at 10.30 WIB. He suspected that the driver was not concentrating enough so that he hit the busway separator.

"(The driver) lacked concentration so that it hit the Separator bus way and overturned to the left," said Edy in his statement, Saturday, April 22.

Edy explained that the incident began when the US was moving from north to south. However, upon arrival at the scene of the crime, the driver lacked concentration and crashed into a busway separator.

"Driving from north to south on Jl S. Parman. Arriving near the Trisakti campus, the lack of concentration hit the separator of the bus way and overturned to the left," he explained.

Although the car overturned, the driver of the car survived. However, the vehicle was badly damaged. "None of the victims died. (But) the vehicle was damaged," he said.
