JAKARTA - Traffic Director of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Sambodo Purnomo Yogo said around 5,000 residents had registered for the Free Homecoming program for the Police.

"There have been many, almost 5,000 have registered from the quota of 20 thousand (seats)," Sambodo said when met after the Call for the 2022 Ketupat Operations Troops held at Monas Square, Jakarta, as reported by Antara, Friday, April 22.

Sambodo explained that the National Police's Free Homecoming program provides 400 buses with a capacity of 20 thousand seats.

The free homecoming registration post at the Metro Jaya Meeting Hall, Polda Metro Jaya, is open from 09.00 to 16.00 WIB.

Registration for free homecoming will close on Sunday (24/4) at 12.00 WIB.

"Registration is enough to bring an ID card and vaccine certificate, especially the booster vaccine. Besides that, there is no ID, any ID card can come, please come," said Sambodo.

This free Indonesian National Police Homecoming covers 21 destinations from Jakarta to West Java, East Java, Central Java and DI Yogyakarta.

People who have registered will depart at different times from Gelora Bung Karno, Senayan, Central Jakarta.

The schedule for the 2022 Eid homecoming departure is divided into three, namely Monday (25/4) as many as 150 buses, Tuesday (26/4) 150 buses and Wednesday (27/4) as many as 100 buses.
