JAKARTA - The DPR leadership received 15 representatives from the mass demonstration at the DPR Building. The masses of workers and students held an audience with the Deputy Speakers of the DPR, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad and Rachmat Gobel.

"So, friends from GEBRAK and AMI, the trade unions conveyed several points of aspiration that were submitted to the DPR. We as the leaders of the DPR accepted these aspirations," said Dasco after receiving an audience at the Nusantara III building, the DPR building, Jakarta, Thursday, April 21. .

"There are several things that we discuss with our friends for our input to the DPR," continued Dasco.

Meanwhile, Rachmat Gobel said that the demands received by the DPR included the Ombibus law, a reduction in basic prices, education issues and demanded to stop discussing the revision of Bill Number 12 of 2011 concerning the Formation of Legislations (RUU PPP).

"The demands, as stated in the past, are regarding the omnibus law, regarding the reduction in the price of basic necessities, especially before this Eid and other matters concerning education," said Gobel.

However, regarding the PPP Law, Dasco added, the protesters were late in expressing their aspirations. This is because the PPP Law has been decided in the plenary session.

"Friends are a bit late in conveying their aspirations. The PPP Law has been discussed, the performance of the reading after the meeting was decided with the government yesterday. However, from this discussion about the omnibus law, we will open space later for friends to always communicate, because we don't know what the omnibus will be. what will be done with the law in the DPR," continued Dasco.
