Airlangga Hartarto Prayed For President By Kyai In Tasikmalaya

TASIKMALAYA - Coordinating Minister for the Economy Airlangga Hartarto visited the Cipasung Islamic Boarding School, Singaparna, Tasikmalaya, West Java, Wednesday 20 April.

The arrival of Coordinating Minister Airlangga at Cipasung Islamic Boarding School was not just for keeping in touch but carrying the government's mandate to help students grow into entrepreneurs.

Airlangga was immediately received by an elder of the Cipasung Islamic Boarding School, KH. Abun Benjamin Ruhiat. The meeting between Airlangga and KH. Abun Bunyamin Ruhiat himself is not the first time.

"Previously we met in Palembang, during Harlah NU some time ago. This meeting is a follow-up to that, because it is very important to stay in touch. In addition, we also bring an entrepreneurial program for students at the Cipasung Islamic Boarding School," explained Airlangga.

Airlangga said the program in question was financial inclusion for Islamic boarding schools and entrepreneurship program assistance for santri. This program is a business capital loan facility with zero percent interest.

The financial inclusion program is one of the programs of the Government of the Republic of Indonesia, in which President Joko Widodo acts directly as the Chairman of the National Council for Inclusive Finance. Based on Presidential Regulation No. 114 of 2020 concerning the National Strategy for Financial Inclusion, this program targets a financial inclusion rate of 90 percent by 2024.

Through this program, said Airlangga, his party hopes that the students are encouraged to become entrepreneurs.

In the second meeting this time, KH. Abun Bunyamin prayed for the General Chairman of the Golkar Party to become president.

"We pray that Pak Airlangga can become president," said KH. Abun Bunyamin when he met Airlangga at Cipasung Islamic Boarding School, in a statement, Thursday, April 21.

This Cipasung Islamic Boarding School elder did not pray for Airlangga as president only once. In front of the group of the two parties who met, KH. Abun Bunyamin again said, Airlangga as a presidential candidate for 2024. He said the prayer again during a photo session with Airlangga's entourage and Cipasung Islamic Boarding School.

"We pray that Golkar and Pak Airlangga will be successful in serving and carrying out the mandate for this nation and country," said Kiai Abun Bunyamin.

At Cipasung Islamic Boarding School, Airlangga and his entourage broke their fast with the administrators of the Islamic boarding school and students. The chairman of Golkar was accompanied by the chairman of the DPD of the West Java Golkar Party, Tubagus Ace Hasan Syadzily and other members of the DPP board of the party bearing the banyan tree symbol.

Airlangga also specifically invited representatives of Bank BJB West Java to provide credit assistance in Cipasung.

Airlangga together with Bank BJB symbolically distributed the BJB Mesra Credit and the Integrated Community Economic Empowerment (Pesat) program to the students and the teacher council at Cipasung Islamic Boarding School.

Cipasung Islamic Boarding School itself is located in Cipakat Village, Singaparna, Tasikmalaya Regency. This Islamic boarding school was founded by Kiai Ruhiat in 1931. This Islamic boarding school has the characteristic of studying the yellow book in addition to implementing formal education programs.
