TANGERANG - A group of women are suspected of stealing a gold necklace at a jewelry store in Cisoka Market, Tangerang, Tuesday, April 12, at 09.00 WIB. The victim admitted that a large amount of gold was stolen, but he had not reported it to the police because he was busy.

Toni (41) as the shop owner, said that the incident began when two women came to his shop to buy necklaces. Shortly after, two women came back to see the necklace.

"So they came two by two, they didn't come all at once," said Toni when met at the location, Wednesday, April 20, afternoon.

According to Toni, the mothers pretended to take turns looking at the necklace in the same tray. After choosing, they don't buy with the reason that they will invite their children to involve in the goods they sell.

“After being picky, keep putting it again. Then the reason they don't buy it is because they want to make children, then just bring their children here," he said.

Toni said that they did the theft when the buyers were busy. So they take advantage of this opportunity.

"The situation is crowded again, there are about 10 buyers with them, while the condition of the employees and I are only 6 people," he said.

He admitted that he only realized after 7 necklaces were missing. Toni immediately pursued the group of mothers.

"I'm already suspicious of the movements of one of them. But when they left, they realized that 7 necklaces had been taken. I finally caught up," said Toni.

When being chased, continued Toni, the perpetrators, totaling 6 people, ran into the market and went straight to a white Pajero sports car.

When checking CCTV in the parking lot, it was discovered that a white car with police number (Nopol) BE 54 NTI, had entered Cisoka Market last March.

For this incident, Toni claimed to have suffered losses of up to tens of millions of rupiah. However, he has not reported the incident, because there is no time.

"The total loss from one tray of gold is IDR 22 million. Haven't reported yet. because there is no time for the police station," he said.
