Chairman Of DPR Reminds Government To Distribute THR And Salaries Of The 13 ASNs On Time

JAKARTA - The House of Representatives (DPR) Speaker, Puan Maharani, reminded the Government to be punctual in distributing Eid al-Fitr holiday allowances (THR) and 13th salary to State Civil Servants (ASN). This good news must be responded to by every agency by distributing THR and 13th Salary for ASN on time", said Puan in a written statement, Wednesday, April 20.

Puan also asked the central government, regional governments, and agencies to accelerate the preparation of technical regulations for the payment of THR and the 13th salary.

"Don't be late, especially for local government officials to immediately prepare a Regional Head Regulation (Perkasa) so that the THR for ASN members is immediately disbursed", said Puan.

She assessed that each regional head must continue to monitor so that the distribution of THR runs smoothly. This is so as not to hinder the preparation of ASN to welcome Eid.

In addition, Puan appreciated the government for providing additional ASN in the form of performance allowances. According to her, the additional performance allowance can increase purchasing power to encourage economic recovery.

"Of course, we also hope that the country's economic growth will improve", said the chairman of the PDIP Central Executive Board.

Puan added, that there are 1.8 million ASN and central retirees who will receive THR 2022. As for regional ASN, there are 3.7 employees and 3.3 million regional retirees.

"For regions that have not allocated the THR budget and the 13th Salary, they must immediately prepare them according to applicable regulations", said Puan.

Based on the regulations, the Eid al-Fitr THR and the 13th salary are given to civil servants, government employees with work agreements (PPPK), TNI/Police, state officials, to retirees.

For Lebaran THR, it must be paid from the 10th of Eid al-Fitr, while the 13th salary is given in July at the earliest.
