Gibran Rakabuming Raka's Assets Increase By IDR4.1 Billion In A Year To IDR25.29 Billion From IDR21.15 Billion

JAKARTA - Solo Mayor Gibran Rakabuming Raka has reported his wealth to the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) on January 31 last. As a result, the number of assets owned by him increased to Rp. 4.1 billion.

From the State Administrators Wealth Report (LHKPN) accessed on the KPK website, the wealth value of President Joko Widodo's eldest son (Jokowi) in 2021 will reach IDR 25,297,783,659. Meanwhile, in the previous year or 2020, Gibran's wealth amounted to Rp. 21,152,810,130.

In his latest report, Gibran is recorded as owning seven units of land and buildings with a value of Rp. 17,339,000,000. The assets are located in Surakarta City, Central Java and Sragen Regency, Central Java.

Furthermore, he is recorded as owning three motorcycle units consisting of a 2015 Honda Scoopy, a 1974 Honda CB-125, and a 2017 Royal Enfield.

Then, Gibran also recorded ownership of four cars, namely two Toyota Avanzas in 2016 and 2012, Isuzu Panther in 2012, Daihatsu Grand Max in 2015, and Mitsubishi Pajero Sport in 2016. The value of all these vehicles reached Rp.682 million. Gibran is noted to have other movable assets of Rp.260 million, cash and cash equivalents of Rp.2,188,369,663, and other assets of Rp.5,552,000,000.

With all the assets owned, Gibran's total wealth actually reached Rp. 26,021,369,663. However, because Gibran has a debt of Rp.723,586.004, his net worth reaches Rp.25,297,783,659.

The debt figure is smaller than what he reported in 2020. At that time, Gibran had a debt of Rp.895,586,004 so that of his total assets which reached Rp.22,048,396,134, it became Rp.21,152,810,130.

In addition, in 2020, Gibran only had six land and building assets in the Surakarta City area with a value of Rp. 13.4 billion.
