JAKARTA - PT Pelayaran Nasional Indonesia (Pelni) has deployed KM Dobonsolo and KM Ciremai to support the implementation of the 2022 motorbike free homecoming program initiated by the Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub).

KM Dobonsolo and KM Ciremai are designed to be able to transport up to 2,500 travelers and 1,250 motorbikes on the Jakarta - Semarang - Surabaya route. The first departure, he continued, will be KM Dobonsolo on Tuesday (26/4) and then KM Ciremai on Friday (29/4).

Meanwhile, the return flow starts from Surabaya on Monday (9/5) with KM Ciremai and then KM Dobonsolo on Wednesday (11/5).

During the Lebaran 2022 transportation period, KM Ciremai sails the Tanjung Priok - Semarang - Surabaya - Makassar - BauBau - Sorong (PP) route. Meanwhile, KM Dobonsolo sails the Tanjung Priok - Semarang - Surabaya - Makassar - BauBau - Ambon - Sorong - Serui - Jayapura (PP) route.

"For information, in the free homecoming program held in 2019, PT Pelni has delivered as many as 11,007 travelers and brought as many as 4,796 motorcycle units," he said.
