At The Trial Danny Pomanto Spoke Of The Biggest Loss At Batua Makassar Hospital Because It Was Stuck, Then Judged Him

MAKASSAR - Makassar Mayor Moh Ramdhan Pomanto stated that the biggest loss in the Batua Hospital project was due to the stalled development since 2019 until now.

"For me, the biggest loss of Batua Hospital is not the construction process, but the stalled project since 2019," said Ramdhan Pomanto (Danny Pomanto) when he was a witness in the trial of the alleged corruption case in the construction of the Batua Hospital at the Makassar Corruption Court. Danny Pomanto said that the Batua Hospital Phase I project planning had been carried out since 2018 and was declared complete by the end of 2019. However, in the process of the project, an indication of state losses was found according to the results of the Indonesian Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) audit.

He explained that the construction of the Batua Hospital Phase I was an increase in the status of a puskesmas to a referral hospital for home care programs or hospital services from home.

According to Danny Pomanto, the Batua Hospital is planned to accommodate and treat all patients, both free of charge or without the participation of the Health Social Security Administering Body (BPJS).

"For the first stage, it is designed to improve the quality of services and classes from a puskesmas to a hospital," he said.

The chairman of the panel of judges, Farid Hidayat Sopamena, asked the mayor questions regarding development which, according to BPK's findings, was included in the total loss category or in other words, could not be used.

Danny Pomanto refuted this statement because according to him, the physical construction of the building is very sturdy and was designed through a modeling application system developed by researchers at Hasanuddin University (Unhas) Makassar.

"As a consultant and architect, I believe that the construction of the hospital is physically solid, because it was designed through a modeling application developed by researchers at Unhas," he also said.

According to him, three earthquakes occurred in the waters around Takalar Regency, then earthquakes in Selayar and NTT and many collapsed the building, in fact the Batua Hospital building did not experience any cracks.

"If it is said to be not strong, it should have been during the big earthquake in NTT and Selayar and the impact was very hard in Makassar, of course it would have damaged and knocked down buildings. But in fact it was fine and there were no cracks," he said.

Previously, in the case of congregational corruption, it had cost the state finances of Rp. 22 billion. The type C hospital construction project, located on Jalan Abdulah Daeng Sirua, has a budget of IDR 25.5 billion, and started in 2018.

This case began to be investigated in December 2020 by the police, based on the results of the BPK RI examination.

The defendants in the case started with the former Kadinkes Makassar Naisyah Tun Azikin as the power user of the budget (KPA).

Then the suspect is Sri Rahmayani Malik, a civil servant of the Makassar City Government who acts as a commitment-making official (PPK).

Next is Muh Alwi, a civil servant of the Makassar City Government as the official implementing technical activity (PPTK), then Firman Marwan, a civil servant of the Makassar City Government or the official for the inspection of work results (PPHP).

Furthermore, there are the suspects Hamsaruddin, Mediswaty, and Andi Sahar as the Makassar ULP Working Group.

There is also a suspect Andi Erwin Hatta Sulolipu as Director of PT Tri Mitra Sukses Sejahtera. Muhammad Kadafi Marikar as Director of PT Sultana Nugraha.

Then the suspect Andi Ilham Hatta Sulolipu as the proxy for the Director of PT Sultana Nugraha. Then, Anjas Prasetya Runtulalo, Dantje Runtulalo, and Ruspiyanto as consultants and supervisory inspectors for CV Sukma Lestari.

In that case, they were charged with Article 2 paragraph 1 subsidiary Article 3 of Law 31 of 1999 concerning the Criminal Act of Corruption as amended in Law Number 20 of 2001 in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) to 1e of the Criminal Code.
